A yurt is a big round timber framed, canvas covered tent which makes a fantastic alternative to a traditional tent – more sturdy, warmer, cosier and much more spacious.
Yurts originate in Mongolia where people are nomadic and carry their homes with them from place to place. The yurt is designed to offer warmth and comfort to its residents no matter how cold, wet or windy the weather might get.
Each yurt is furnished with a comfortable king size bed with luxurious bedding and a carpeted floor. A double sofa bed provides fireside seating. Bed side cabinets and a drawer chest offer you storage space for your belongings. Each yurt has a lockable front door.
A woodburning stove is available for your use and gives a lovely warm and cosy experience on a chilly or damp evening
Outside your yurt there is a decking area, outdoor seating, hammock, firepit and barbeque area and stunning views of the ocean and mountains.
